Time of day for renewals

gfg1109  Generally speaking, I believe it happens very early on in the day; I usually wake to a text and email notification.

If you set your plan to auto-renew, or have made arrangements in advance for a different plan for the following month, then it won't affect you as service will be seamless.

gfg1109 I believe that it's usually the same day and (start) time as when you activated the SIM. There are some exceptions to this i.e if that day is a bank holiday or a weekend or the payment fails (in which case they try capturing again in a few days) but it generally is the same day/time each month.

At least, with other subscription services it works this way. I think the time can also vary depending on your bank because there is usually a delay between when the payment is 'posted' (or rather 'pending') to when it is actually 'taken' .. I don't think that affects the billing period in any way though..
