SMS to iot number
I would like to be able to send SMS to a iot SIM number begins +882, but text won't send, anyone come up against this? Any work round or should I just get a SIM from another provider. I can send SMS from iot (things mobile) to smarty but not vice versa. Thanks

william_3222281 Is that not considered an International Network? If that is the case, then you would need credit to pay for any international texts you send. Smarty plans include SMS to standard UK mobile numbers, certain free numbers (999, 111 etc) and a few short codes.
That said, I cannot see it mentioned in the Price Guide and so it may be that Smarty cannot work with that network at all. An internet search suggests that the code is reserved for iot, satellite and maritime communications and a number of networks do not support it.
It may be worth checking with Smarty Support via web chat. My best guess is that, if they did support the code, it would rate as a premium number like 084 and 087 numbers
