Smarty sim card compatible with tesco mobile phones

I'm looking to buy a phone from the tesco mobile website and I'm wondering if my smarty sim card will work on it, I'm buying it without a sim card in it

    In the past, there were certainly issues with Tesco phones being locked in some way to the O2 network. Best to get some form of guarantee from the vendor.

    OFCOM has banned the sale of network locked mobile phones in the UK.

    A SIM free phone from Tesco Mobile should be unlocked, and ready to use on any UK network JackMil_1921409.
