Sim number

Hi,

I received my new sim from smarty at the start of Feb 24, then provided a PAC to change to my original mob number.  I went through the process and my my 'about phone' on Samsung galaxy A53 stills shows the smarty number and did not change to my own number. I have tried various suggestions, and Samsung themselves were not forthcoming with a resolve. checked a number of forums but none have worked although the phone still functions as expected. I was to believe that Samsung does not give this option to change on the mobile. 

Last week I decided to change my wife's phone Samsung galaxy A52 to smarty, went through the process and her original number changed in all areas. ... rather baffling, any solutions?
