DavidWa_4251415 Does the camera record permanently or is it triggered by a sensor to record for a period when there is movement. If it is permanent, then you are watching the tomatoes grow and that is using data perhaps unnecessarily. I have a cctv that records when it detects movement so wonder if yours can do that.
Also, have you checked the recording quality. If it is set high, does that use more data?
Did you buy a data only plan? Currently, Smarty are offering 70Gb for £9 on the standard plan, so can you get that instead? I think that once you have an offer, it continues for maybe a year. Although you do not need calls and texts, you would benefit from the hike in data
If you are eligible for Pension Credit, then you could also get the Smarty Social Tariff plan which gives unlimited data for £12.
