Sim deactivated

Sim is showing as deactivated and I cannot make any calls - why has this happened and what can I do to fix it?

All may not be lost, you have 30 days to get your PAC and port your number to another network mailto:team@support.smarty.co.uk You can always return to Smarty at a future date.

Figment_uk If the sim is already deactivated, is it still definitely possible to move the number?

Ofcom rules allow you to obtain your PAC from the Network, within thirty days of sim deactivation. After thirty days your number is permanently lost and is processed for recycling.

If applied for within time and a valid PAC is issued, you have a further 30 days to port your number to another UK Network, if PAC is not used, then no further opportunities are offered.

ZiziKay_3367755 The most likely reason would be that you have not had a Smarty plan for 180 days and then not responded to a reminder for a further 40 days and then the sim was deactivated.

Not sure there is anything you can do to fix that situation other than to get hold of a new sim with a new number.
