SIM Card activated but no data
Did anyone manage to fix this problem at all? i'm really regretting my smarty sim unlimited purchase right now!
I tried all the various suggestions without success, manually entered the apn settings tried the different variations, reset and power cycle etc nothing seemed to work.. until I tried using the internet in another browser app instead of safari.
Turns out that ‘safari’ was switched off under the Mobile Data settings menu option. When you first go into Settings > Mobile Data - scroll to the bottom and wait a few moments, all the apps on your iPhone will load up and have a toggle switch to indicate if it is allowed to use your mobile data or not (if set to no, then wifi only).
This might be the cause of your troubles and had nothing to do with Smarty in the end (in my own case). Hope this helps someone!
