Short term cancelation
I have a smarty sim in my router in my caravan. The site closes soon and I would like to temporarily stop my account for4 months. There's no point paying for it whilst I am not there. Can I cancel and rejoin in 4 months time ?.
Hi Anthony_2285035 yes absolutely! The great thing about SMARTY is that you're not tied into any sort of commitment. You can pause your plan at any time simply by switching off auto-renew in your dashboard and you'll then have up to 6 months to renew the plan in order to keep your number active 😊

You can only otherwise cancel a sim within the 14 day cooling off period and then you need a webchat with Smarty Support.

BHUWAND_3176579 Turn off auto renew in your account dashboard and do not buy anew Smarty plan when current one expires. You will receive a warning email after 180 days of inactivity, telling you that your sim will deactivate after a further 40 days without a purchase.
