Roaming in Mallorca not working
Hi, well the title says it all really! I went to Berlin recently and was stuck on 3g the whole time so when I got back I looked into it and found I had to change the settings which I did. The phone is and iPhone 14, settings are correct, roaming is on, 5g is on but I’m still stuck on 3g. There’s a large group of us on different networks, I’m the only one with this issue, any idea how to sort it? Thanks

FionaBl_1704474 First thing will be to do a manual network search rather than automatic and check each one.
There's no guarantee that you will get 5G. It has often been suggested that the local customers of the EU networks get priority - never seen any proof though but it sounds reasonable.
Thanks, I’ve tried that to no avail. The local customer suggestion would make sense if the other 9 people in our group with different operators did not all have 5g! Looking at other threads about this exact same issue, it does seem to be a smarty one, and one they’re aware of to boot.

APN is set to mob.asm.net?
Voice and data set to 5G auto? Data roaming definitely on?
I have roamed in Spain before with no problem, so this seems strange.
