Solved

recent bereavement changing our phone plans

probably a straight forward answer around here but anyway.

last year our mum died and she was the 'owner' ? of our group of 3 for our plan, my question is , is there a way to make my account the owner of our group of 2 now by just removing mum from the group without having to cancel the whole plan or would it be easier to cancel the plan and start a new group for the 2 of us (seeing as im looking at different plans for us)

hope this makes sense and thank you 🙂

JordanW_2332554 I think that you will need to remove all members from the group (assuming that you have access to your late mother's account details ). You can then restart the group with you as owner and invite the others in as members.

If your mum's account has zero activity then the sim will deactivate after 220 days.

Condolences on your loss; these sort of admin problems are always tough just when you don't need them.

If you cannot access her account, you will need to web chat with Smarty Support as they may need evidence before they can close off her account or remove payment methods etc.
