Contact number
- 25-09-2023
Welcome to the Smartys Users Forum.
We are customers/Users just like you.
Just so you know, Smarty DO NOT have a customer hotline/phone number. There are only two ways to contact them.
The best point of contact is through Webchat, otherwise it's a case of sending an email.
You can get these details through the help articles created by Smarty.

This is useless. I can make calls and texts but not receive them. I need a phone number where I can speak to a human to resolve this problem. The problem here is obvious. I am tempted to cancel my direct debit. Your messaging service is useless and you do not communicate by email.
I think I am entittled to help if not compensation.

SusanKa_3437685 You are somewhat missing the point here. This is the Community Forum and we don't work for Smarty - we are customers .
There is no phone contact number - Smarty Support work via web chat in order to keep costs of call centres down.
"The problem is obvious" - Is it? Have you ported in a number recently? Did the problem start then? Have you performed a Network Reset in your phone settings? What do people hear when they dial your number? Does your Account Dashboard show the correct number?
That's why it isn't necessarily obvious.
The issue of compensation only applies if it is a fault of the Smarty system and strictlythat would only amount to pence per day of service outage.

LynnCar_2446161 No, there isn't. If they cannot take payment from the source on your account dashboard, then your plan will not renew.
When you say 'overdue' - is the phone still working? Take a look at Account Dashboard to see if your plan is active.
