poor service map wrong
indogo Actually, I just ran a check on the place I used to live in; the checker shows good coverage. In fact, the property was situated in a slight dip in the village and so coverage was not at all great; we had to run upstairs if the mobile rang so that we could take a call and have a conversation.
This reinforces the view that it is purely a guide. No network was likely to give a great coverage in the place in truth.

this is a town of 25000 and rising population which used to give 5 bars on three untill about 4 years ago and now gives 0 to 2 bars so perhaps an update is needed.
well removal of the mast due to a problem with its location (hospital closing down...it was at the highest point for miles) and the other one is now the only one and covers the area badly as lower down and to one side of the hill.
the 4G map shows coverage as it used to be.
I suppose i wondered if this area was every going to return to its previous good service.
