RCS chats stuck on "Connecting"
I am trying to set up RCS chats after porting my number from giffgaff
It is stuck on Status: Connecting... Trying to verify my number
It was working on my temporary number before porting my number
I have a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
Any suggestions?
I removed my temporary number from my Google account

How do I go about doing that please?

You can remove your temporary number from your Google account with the following steps:
- Go to Account Settings:
- Web browser: Go to myaccount.google.com.
- Device: go to Settings > Google > Manage your Google Account.
- Go to Personal Info:
- Tap or click on Personal info in the top or left menu.
- Scroll down to Contact info and select Phone.
- Delete the Number:
- Click on the temporary phone number.
- Click the Delete option.
- Enter your password for verification.
- Confirm by clicking Remove number.
If you don't see a delete option, this may happen if the number is being used for security purposes, such as 2FA or recovery, and you'd need to remove it from those settings.
