Picture of a passport
Long story short. I mistyped my son's surname coz I'm a pleb and now someone on the chat wants me to send a photo of his passport.
Am I being a bit over the top for not wanting to send my sons passport or birth certificate to a guy I don't know in India.
It's literally 1 wrong letter, all my other family members are in there same group and are spelled correct

GarethD_625 So, what has "a guy I don't know in India" got to do with it? How do you know he is in India? Would it be better if a guy I don't know in Reading" asked you to send a copy?
As a security measure, they are asking you to send a copy of an official document, and a passport is probably the best. Can you think of some other form of evidence that you can send and offer that?
