DavidScr_907890 Not sure I understand. How does Google send a code to your old phone if there is no sim in it? Wouldn't it send the code to wherever your sim is?

DavidScr_907890 Can you access your Google account on another device? If so, you can change your settings so that you can get the 2-step verification codes sernt via e-mail.
You can enable 2-step verification and choose to have codes sent via email, in addition to other methods like Google prompts, phone messages, or Google Authenticator. Here's how to set it up:- Sign in to your Google Account: Go to your Google Account settings.
- Go to Security: Find the Security section in your account settings.
- Choose 2-Step Verification: Look for "Signing in to Google" and select "2-Step Verification".
- Set it up: Follow the on-screen instructions to enable 2-step verification and select your preferred method for receiving verification codes. Email can be an option.
- Confirm: You'll likely need to verify your email address with a code sent to it before completing the setup.
- Backup Codes: Google also provides backup codes that can be printed, downloaded, or written down. Keep these safe in case you can't access your phone or email.
