PAC code delays
Why is it’s taking Sooooo long to move my number over from Three???? I was advised it would take 24rs.
I activated my Smarty SIM card on the 17/06/25. The first date I was given for my number to be transferred over was 20/06/25. This changed three times already 23rd, then 24th and now the 25th.
There appears to be NO one I can call to resolve this or move the matter forward.
This doesn’t give me a good first impression of Smarty and I getting anxious that I will lose a number that I’ve had for 25 years because Smarty and Three can’t seem to communicate properly. I’ve logged a complaint only to be told that someone will come back to me in 7 days.
This is simply NOT good enough.

So YET AGAIN my transfer date has moved. This is now the FIFTH time the transfer date has changed. I thought this WHOLE process was supposed to take 24 hours, by the time the 26th rolls around it will be 9 days since I activated my sim and gave Smarty my PAC code.
Can anyone that works for Smarty explain what the hell is going on here ????

DylanCr_3433935 If you want someone from Smarty to respond, you will need to raise a Complaint.
This forum has Moderators who do work for Smarty, but they rarely seem to have the specific level of information that you are seeking.

I logged a complaint yesterday before my first livechat. They have stated that I would get a response in 7 days.
The issue I have is that the PAC code has an expiration date and it is a number I have had for 25 years and I do don’t want to lose it.

DylanCr_3433935 Firstly, don't forget that transfers do not take place over weekends.
contact smarty Support via web chat for an answer or else escalate to a Complaint.

I gave Smarty my PAC on a Tuesday so the issue of the transfer being over a weekend isn’t relevant. It’s now been a week and it’s still not been transferred over.
