Number not Change on iPhone after port
Hi everyone,
I am at my wits end - my partner and I recently switched to SMARTY and chose to keep our old numbers. We have had notification that the port was successful and our old numbers have transferred however within ‘Phone’ in iPhone settings our number is still showing as the temporary number provided by SMARTY. This is similar in FaceTime and iMessage and our current number (original number we kept) has disappeared.
I have read numerous threads and tried the following but am now at a loss of what else to try:
- Turning off iMessage and FaceTime and doing a network reset, waiting and restarting the phone.
- Trying to change the number in ‘Phone’
Any help massively appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Did you ever get to the bottom of this as I am having the same problem?
PAULADI_3120966 If you research this, you will see that a Network Reset in phone settings often corrects this. The phone 'remembers' the original sim number.

When I go to change the number, it does not allow me to save it. I note on other threads, other iPhone users have had the same issue.
Florenc_2964068 Cannot think of anything else to suggest here. Have you tried Apple help?
