No service message

I keep getting no Mobil service not available when I try to make a call and have been told incoming calls go straight to voicemail. If I restart the phone the service is restored, I’ve tried cleaning the SIM card and that works for a while. Signal strength is always good and I can make calls via WhatsApp, is there a problem with service (I’m in London) or a fault with the SIM card or could it be a problem with my phone ( One Plus). Any suggestions would be welcome.

    DavidSa_2822574​ Have you done a Network Status check for your area?(possible network issue with local mast)

    Will the sim work correctly in another phone? (looking for a phone fault)

    Are your WhatsApp calls via a wifi connection or via your mobile data?(is the mobile data working rather than simply wifi connection)

      Hi

      The fault has been happening on and off for a couple of months now it seems to be an intermittent fault that only manifests itself if I try to make a call or if someone calls me but then no missed calls are shown in notifications.

      I haven’t tried the Sim in another phone but will do.

      WhatApp calls are made from my home network via the internet and those work fine.
