No Network

I have been unable to make or receive calls via the smarty network for 2 weeks now.

I've tried to make contact with them, however, they are impossible to contact.

Please advise, its driving me crazy, I am missing some extremely important calls.

KelsadaD_582624 Have you completed a Network Status check for your postcode?

If there is no obvious problem, you contact them via web chat using the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the forum page.

Webchat function not working today mate. Along with the signal outage in east London. Using a shared use computer room to just try and find out what is going on.

    Hi KelsadaD_582624

    What phone do you have?
Is it compatible for use with SMARTY 4G network?
    https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/8985136-checking-if-your-device-is-4g-volte-compatible

SMARTY, which uses the Three network, completed the majority of its 3G network shutdown in September 2024. While a limited number of 3G sites remain operational, these are being prioritized for upgrade before the 3G network is completely switched off, with the remaining sites expected to be turned off in 2025.
Therefore, while the majority of the 3G network is already shut down, some 3G sites will remain operational for a limited time before being switched off in 2025.
This may mean that your area was one of those that wasn't shutdown until recently.

Can you still text and use your data?
If so, you need to ensure that VoLTE (4G) is enabled on your phone to connect to the network (as long as the make/model is supported by SMARTY - see above link)
4G is the generic name given to the 4th Generation network but VoLTE is the actual type of network in use and so this is why you need a VoLTE connection and not just 4G.

    Hope this helps x
