No 5g

Just transferred my SIM card to my new iPhone -16e…. No 5g anymore …. All phone settings are ticked for use of 5g and I live approx one mile in a clear line from the nearest 5g mast … can’t understand why no  5g

      Hi in my first month with Smarty, so new sim,  after recommendation and checking coverage in Seaford, East Sussex as have had problems with EE. Just had one of theses service outtagesfor a day, being described by others  so not a great start.

      The idea was to move from 4G to 5G having checked coverage. Local phone retailler just told me there is no 5G in Seaford currently so no point in upgrading handset despite indications otherwise from service providers. So no 4G or 5G. Any suggestions other than returning to Giff Gaff?

        JohnRic_3417203 You need to complete both a coverage check and network status check for your postcode.

        Ultimately, it may be that you are in  a poor area for Three signal.
