[Network Issue] Service Update - Resolved
Update 09:00
Following an issue with our voice and text services yesterday, service has now been restored for the majority of our customers.
If anyone is still having issues, they should restart their device which should reconnect them to our network.
We apologise sincerely for the issues yesterday.

RonDick_2934023 there is a whole thread on this: https://community.smarty.co.uk/t5/chats-hacks/network-issue-service-update/td-p/55055
As you have paid a maximum of £20 for 31 days service, I guess that you would be entitled to 65p as a strict liability.

For one customer 65p, but if 1000000 customets are affected then thats £65000 so i guess thats a bigger strict liabilty that smarty seem to shy away from and just hope it goes away by getting drowned out in comments, so come on smarty, get your hand in your pocket and compensate every customer affected today, so no champagne for the next board meeting.

I live in Durham and I can’t make or receive calls been like this all day it’s a joke how smarty don’t have a contract centre when will my network return to normal
- MSFSMARTY Guru25-06-2025
ColinSa_2571747 If they had a contact centre, that would push up costs and the customers (us lot) would end up paying for it.
Given that there is a national issue, what do you think your chances of getting through to a call centre would be right now? If you really want a callcentre, then you will need to join a main network that may have them....and pay accordingly.
It may well be that they do not know what is wrong with the Three network or the smarty section of it, so that means that they cannot know exactly when it will be fixed.

Will customers be notified when it's back?, And couldn't you have messaged everyone if that's still working I've spent hours trying to figure this out

Yeah me too , changing setting etc etc but then realised it’s the switch over to Vodafone from three that’s caused it after some googling

Missing important calls from my Doctor... When will this be fixed??? Not safe at all!
- MSFSMARTY Guru25-06-2025
Jeanett_3339664 We do not know. The thread will be updated when they do know.
Do you know of any service that is 100% reliable for 100% of the time? Never had a power cut? Never had a car break down? Unfortunately, they cannot guarantee that things will never break down.

I'm 72 and not used to this....

I thought WiFi calling was for times such as this?
Absolutely ridiculous service, last straw for me, 5 year customer next week and I'm gone baby
