My phone doesn't ring if the screen is off
My fone rings if the screen is open but doesn't ring when the screen is off

Have a look in the settings as this happens when the 'Do Not Disturb' is on 🤔
Other than that I am at a loss, sorry xKayfraze Hard to think that it is anything to do with your Smarty sim.
I agree with Chalkychap - or else the phone is kaput, deceased, mort, muerto.
I only put in the Smarty SIM in this week, up until then I was with Vodafone and it worked but was a lot more expensive. But now I have a cheaper option that I can't rely on. Maybe it's a coincidence but I am not convinced.
What does the phone manufacturer say about this, Kayfraze?
Most likely this is caused by a settings option on the phone itself - the answer is probably in the phone's user manual.
