I'm on the £20 unlimited but used dater goes across the full bar. 686 will my dater carry on or will it stop till the payment is due again

What full bar? The plan will run out after a month and then stop, unless you buy another or have auto-renew turned on.
By the way, the Unlimited is now on offer at £18 so you could web chat with Smarty to get it at that price.
