Joining up with the Vodafone network

I recently read that the Smarty/Three network will join up with the Vodafone network and switch between the two depending on which signal is stronger.

This is great news as I've had bad reception in my area. After doing some research on https://bidb.uk/ it shows that the Vodafone network is the best in my area and covers most places I go to such as work.

Will we get any messages when this will done in my area?
