iPhone messages not working
Put SIM card in phone phone works no iPhone messages and my number in phone settings is the new sim number not my old number

Have you also tried changing the number manually to the old number? Settings>Apps>Phone>My Number.
Have you chosen to port your old number from the previous supplier?Davidke_3011889 Have you done any research on this issue, because it comes up very often?
The number in Settings is the original number of the sim. A network rest via Settings should show your porte in number (assuming that is showing in your Account Dashboard).
