iPhone Air. WiFi Calling
Hi everyone,
just joined smarty with 2 iPhones an iPhone Air and a iPhone 17 pro , all is ok with the 17 pro but the iPhone Air can’t receive any calls when on WiFi calling it only works with WiFi calling switched off , been through Smarty tech support but they are unable to fix it. I really need WiFi calling so any help would be appreciated.

No the 17 pro works fine with WiFi calling switched on, my broadband provider is giving me 833 Mbps download and 853 Mbps upload speeds so its not a router issue, the iPhone Air worked perfectly with WiFi calling when I was with EE using an EE eSIM , but will not accept calls with the Smarty eSIM with WiFi calling on .
Ok done some more digging it turns out the iPhone 17 pro was not connected to the WiFi network, this has been resolved and the iPhone 17 is connected to the network, so all should be fine, but no , both phones will both not accept calls with WiFi calling on both devices.
StevenW_3773525 As I understand it (and doubtless someone will correct me if I am wrong) wifi calling only works if there is insufficient standard mobile signal available. Could that explain the issue?
Is the 17Pro only using wifi calling under poor mobile signal conditions?
