iOS 18.2 cannot make or receive calls

Since we updated to iOS 18.2 yesterday we cannot make or receive calls. Apple are saying that the systems are showing dropped calls which is a provider issue. 
does anyone have any suggestions please?

    Neither Apple or Smarty are accepting responsibility for this.  I put another networks sim in and now it’s fine. Cuts pretty obvious where the issue lies then.

      BarryBe_1595546 AmyLJones89 Did you do a Network Status check to see if there is a local mast issue?

      I have iOS 18.2 and Smarty sim with no problem.

    Same issue on two phones. Had to change sim to another network.

    AmyLJones89 I did that same update and am not having any problems with calls at present.

    Have you also done a Network Status check?
