Huawei mobile WiFi

hi guys I activated my sim this morning and have put it in my huawei mobile WiFi device but only the battery and WiFi are lighting up green. The signal is red. Any advice&nbsp;

No I don’t think it is. I’m not good with all this. But when I put the old sim in which was EE the same thing comes up.
the wee envelope symbol was lighting up too and the. I reset it and it went off too

So, you are having the same issue with both an EE sim and a Smarty SIM ?Looks to me like your device could be network locked ? Where did you buy it, was it new or pre-owned ?&nbsp;
