Google Safe Search - HELP!

As an adult, I prefer to choose for myself what I can and cannot see on search engines like Google.  Unfortunately, it appears that "safe search" (ie censorship mode) is activated by default when Google is used via Smarty data on my SIM deal, and I cannot find a way of turning it off.  This is despite reading your FAQ's. following the link and paying my £1 to prove I'm an adult, to supposedly turn off the adult content filter.  

So, my question to Smarty is this: is there a way of accessing Google on your network with "safe search" switched off?  If your answer is no, why not?   Enforced censorship of responsible adults is not something I approve of, and your assistance would be appreciated.  Many thanks.
