Data being used while on WiFi
Per title- my data keeps getting swallowed up even though I'm using my home wifi.
I'm on a grandfathered £5 /month pack with just 500mb data, and recently I've been seeing my data consumed warnings popping even though I'm sat on my home wifi...
Is there a setting or something for preferred data source (Android/pixel 9)?
This is a recent problem and it had never been like this previously.

Rich_Peall Your phone may keep a data connection to quickly switch to mobile data when your WiFi signal becomes weak or it is turned off. Look for settings like 'WiFi Assist' (iOS), 'Adaptive Connectivity' (Android) or 'Switch to mobile data' (Samsung) and turn them off. Also try disabling mobile data when you're indoors, and turn it on when you are outside.
Unrelated, but what is the plan you are on right now? Is it a data discount plan? SMARTY offers a 2GB data-only plan for £5 if you want more data for the same price (assuming you don't want calls and texts).
