Is there any way to reopen a closed account, as my email is locked to the old account?
KathrynE_861950 Depends when it was closed really. If it was some time ago, the number may well have been recycled by now.
Only way to find out for sure is to web chat with Smarty Support.

Re."no access to closed account" - During CHAT was told the SMARTY "backroom people" would email me about non-access to closed account. The primary number on a Group Account was discontinued so couldn't access account to update payments, or anything else, on any of the numbers. Backroom people emailed in 24 hours. They didn't have answer either, suggested get another SIM for phone accounts now inaccessible and start new account and then PAC your old number to the new SIM. It works but what a faff!!

The problem is the web chat seems to not understand what my problem is😔
