Thanks! I actually just tried it myself earlier, I'm also on that group plan, and got the message.
That's perfect, no chance of a large bill as has happened in the past!hamm3rt1me If there is no add-on credit on her account, she won't be able to make any such calls.
Smarty is not like O2 in that it does not offer any credit to be billed later on. You pay for a Smarty plan up front and that gives UK calls & texts plus internet as per the plan. If you want any out of plan usage, then you need to purchas add on credit to pay for it.
There should be no issue for your mother - she should get a message saying that service is not available if she dials outside the Uk.
