Smarty is very stupiddy...
Wow, nothing but profound problems -- I have paid but they won't hook me hooked me up to to my line. I keep getting chirpy messages telling me to sort out my own phone so I connect woth them! will be asking for my pac code as soon as they (if they know how) get my number transferred. I have discovered recently it is very important to find out if the customer service of a mobile phone company is based in Europe rather than India.. Oops, I forgot to ask, but 1 minute on the Web chat and belatedly figured out to my horror it was India. I am just praying they can manage the number switch before the end of the month. In the meantime I still have my Lycamobile (I was leaving them because they are based in Sri Lanka, haha) I cannot believe Which? have them as a recommended supplier. In the future I will never trust Which?
Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes š and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? Thanks Jim x
Internet drops out post port
I think I need to check my SIM/data provisioning and PDP/data-session configuration, and whether there is a network fault affecting my serving cell? My Moto G55 registers as 4G/4G+ and reports āConnectedā and āIn serviceā, but mobile data intermittently stops completely. 5G preferred also fails to establish a connection. Network resets, APN checks and airplane mode have not resolved it.ā this is after a port from Giffgaff. Just awful service
Change of plan from data only to the one with calls and messages
Hello, I recently bought a data plan with a physical card but i need a phone number. How can i change my plan from data only to a standard "Unlimited calls and messages + data"? I'd be really thankful for any help because I can't find any solution for this problem.
No Mobile data connection with Unlimited
I have recently had no Data connection away from Wi-Fi. I have checked the mobile connection information for Smarty, and it matches that on my phone im on iPhone iOS 26 has anyone else had this issue? i have tried resetting the data information and turned the phone off and back on, but still no data away from wifi!!!! Going nuts trying to work out what is going on. My wife is on Smarty also and has no issues, and her connection info matches mine HELP
Sim not working......still.
My number has been ported over. I received the confirmation from SMARTY. The mobile data doesn't work and says "not registered to network" when I try calls. The sim works in other phones. I've gone through the list and none of it helped. I'm giving it 24hrs, if its not sorted then I'm cancelling it and switching to someone else.Can't call out with new phone
My eldest got a new phone (second hand Samsung Galaxy S21) and since inserting the SIM card, he can no longer call out or go on the internet (Wi-Fi works fine). Weirdly, the SIM card phone number displays a different number to the one that he had, as if it changed with the new phone. There is definitely coverage as I use SMARTY as well and my phone is fine. Any help would be appreciated.
