Has any one run into an issue with Microsoft authorisation on a Mac tethered/hot-spot to my phone (with a Smarty plan)? Due to OpenReach being rubbish and cancelling my previous broadband installation several times, I've been using this setup at home for about 6 weeks. This morning however none of the MS apps would authorise: login.microsoftonline.com errors (with a TLS alert 49). Other sites (login.windows.net) return a 302 - not a TLS error. My Phone works fine, just my tethered Mac. I turned on Cloudflares 1.1.1.1 Warp VPN thingy on the phone, and the Mac started working fine. Of all the sites/app I visit that the MS authentication was the only one broken for me. I can only assume Three (possibly Smarty, but doubtful) has broken it somehow, presumably some webfilter, which it can't apply when using a VPN. Anyway, if you have this problem then perhaps try using a VPN on a phone (took ages to work this out!).

Switched over from ID mobile about 1 week ago and since then have no connection at all. I can connect to Wifi and make wifi calls, but when out and about the Sim shows no connection and and excalamation over my Pixel 9 Signal status. Obviously I've checked my APN details against those supplied, restarted, ejected and reinserted SIM...nothing.

Wow, nothing but profound problems -- I have paid but they won't hook me hooked me up to to my line. I keep getting chirpy messages telling me to sort out my own phone so I connect woth them! will be asking for my pac code as soon as they (if they know how) get my number transferred. I have discovered recently it is very important to find out if the customer service of a mobile phone company is based in Europe rather than India.. Oops, I forgot to ask, but 1 minute on the Web chat and belatedly figured out to my horror it was India. I am just praying they can manage the number switch before the end of the month. In the meantime I still have my Lycamobile (I was leaving them because they are based in Sri Lanka, haha) I cannot believe Which? have them as a recommended supplier. In the future I will never trust Which?
Short codes 79100
I have just read a post from 2/2025 saying we can use short codes one here , but in Dec last year 2025 I tried to join fabswingers as a supported yes I can't wait for the jokes š and I got charges for the text but the code never worked and ended up being refunded for out of plan add on moneys, does anyone know if this has changed or its still a no.go from.smarty ? I think I need to check my SIM/data provisioning and PDP/data-session configuration, and whether there is a network fault affecting my serving cell? My Moto G55 registers as 4G/4G+ and reports āConnectedā and āIn serviceā, but mobile data intermittently stops completely. 5G preferred also fails to establish a connection. Network resets, APN checks and airplane mode have not resolved it.ā this is after a port from Giffgaff. Just awful service
Change of plan from data only to the one with calls and messages
Hello, I recently bought a data plan with a physical card but i need a phone number. How can i change my plan from data only to a standard "Unlimited calls and messages + data"? I'd be really thankful for any help because I can't find any solution for this problem.
No Mobile data connection with Unlimited
I have recently had no Data connection away from Wi-Fi. I have checked the mobile connection information for Smarty, and it matches that on my phone im on iPhone iOS 26 has anyone else had this issue? i have tried resetting the data information and turned the phone off and back on, but still no data away from wifi!!!! Going nuts trying to work out what is going on. My wife is on Smarty also and has no issues, and her connection info matches mine HELP
