Text message problem
After transfered to Smarty, I could call, surface internet, but could not receive text message. Smarty CS staff (Aakash) helps me to solve it in following steps: Option 1: Install Google Messages Go to the Google Play Store. Search for Google Messages and install it. Open the app and set it as your default SMS app. Tap your profile icon > Messages settings > Chat features. Turn Chat features off if they are enabled. Option 2: Use Samsung Messages but Disable RCS via Google Account (if previously enabled) If you had RCS enabled on another phone or app, you can deregister it here: Enter your phone number and verify via SMS. I used option1 and solve the problem. He is really helpful and know the technical matter. Thanks809Views2likes1CommentVoicemail notification texts
I was with EE, when I received a voicemail, I would receive a text with the callers number. The text would show the name of the caller if they were in my contact list. Smarty just send a text with Smarty's voicemail number. Please could Smarty change the notification text to show the callers number. I know the voicemail headers include the number but this does not really help me identify the caller (or tap #).2.3KViews1like4CommentsNot receiving 2FA texts after porting
Hello! 2 weeks ago I have decided to give SMARTY a try and ported my old phone number from Vectone. Since then I can only make and receive phone calls, but can't send or receive SMS text messages. After trying all the guides I could find on the website nothing worked so I contacted support via the live chat. They were extremely unhelpful, asked me the same questions over 3 times now and then leave me waiting. I need to fix this urgently since this is my number that I use for 2FA in all websites and most importantly Universal Credit that I must have access to at all times or could get into very serious trouble! I am using Android and would be very thankful for any help on this. Thank you!Solved6.4KViews0likes8Comments
