35 TopicsScheduled Plan Change Failed Again (Evidence Attached) – Urgent Help Needed
I am looking for some help or advice from the community as I am now stuck without data despite having a confirmed plan change scheduled for today. The Background: I raised a complaint (Ref: 34545993#1355880) weeks ago regarding plan issues. I received a formal email from a Customer Excellence Associate on Dec 1st stating that I was placed on the 60GB for 8 pound offer, which would take effect from my next renewal date on 29/12/2025. The Issue: Today is Monday, 29th December. My previous plan has expired and shows 0KB left. However, the 60GB plan has NOT activated. Even though my Manage Plan screen clearly shows the 60GB/8 pound plan as a Scheduled plan change, the system is now asking me to manually renew or buy an add-on. The Proof: I have screenshots showing: My dashboard showing 0KB left and the reset date as today.[1] The email from SMARTY Complaints confirming the 60GB plan for today's date. [2] My Manage Plan screen showing the 60GB plan is correctly Scheduled but hasn't triggered.[3] This is the second month this has happened. I followed the instructions, waited for the reset, and the system has failed again. I am now without the service I was promised in writing. Has anyone else experienced a Scheduled Plan Change failing to trigger on the renewal date? How did you get it fixed without paying extra? I need help to understand why the update hasn't worked. I recently switched from an unlimited plan to 100gb and it was due to go out of my bank today 15/10 yet it hasn't gone out and it says cant retrieve login details on the app and on the website it says my plan has been paused and that I've activated a new sim do I want to port my number over. I havent changed sims I've just changed plans. Can someone explain and help me as this is stressing me out. My phone still works and im still connected to the smarty network. Edit - This is now all working and no longer saying paused but it's still saying ive activated a new sim and do I want to bring my number over. I am a 75 pensioner at the end of 2020 I had to undergo emergency surgery to relive pressure on my brain pressure from a cyst miss diagnosed sinus infection I have two phones a smart phone and a simple phone my wife also has a smart phone. We have these in case an emergency call needs to be made in case we lose connection on the now ViOP connection we have instead of the standard land line. The ViOP connection can be lost if broadband goes' down or Electricity Failure. I tried to or three sims on line but this was denied I even tried on a customer service conversation which also denied this possibility but the conversation with the message that it was easy to join SARTY MOBILE. I bought 3 sims from Argos in an attempt to resolve my problem in my attempt to resolve my problem. I told by customer service "It was easy to join SARTY MOBILE." Far from it the web are a maze not very intuitive in try to register my bought sims alongside the PAC numbers I have now been sent 4 sims in the post trying to set up a group of the three phones seem to be not very intuitive also. I don't want to select wrong option and lose my number but I need to select an option and confirm choice to get rid of this question on my dashboard. I've been with SMARTY since September 2023. I moved my number from previous provider with me. Now my dashboard has a box saying: we noticed you activated your sim. Do you want to bring your phone number to SMARTY? Option 1: yes bring my number. We will bring your number by end of day on 08/07/2024 Option 2: no keep new SMARTY number. You can bring your number later from account settings. I'm worried either option might be wrong and lose me my number. I already brought my number, so what number would they be bringing under option 1.
