Auto Renew experience
I am interested to know what other’s experience of the seamless auto renew process? I’ve been with SMARTY around 4 months, and every month, on the anniversary date, my account goes into pause at midnight. It renews, but I am unclear whether it has or not because both the app and website do not update? I have to wait several hours before I receive an email confirming my card payment has been taken, and only then the website and app show I’m live again. In the app I have to logout and log back in again to update it, as it still shows in pause otherwise?Solved21KViews3likes28CommentsRemove payment option
Does any one know how to remove a payment option? My account lists several debit cards I have used for payment in the past, as well as the current one. I want to remove these from the list (housekeeping) but I can't find how to do it. If I select one of these cards the app simply elects this as the preferred payment option. Hi there My SMARTY plan has been on auto-renewal since I opened my account and has renewed every month accordingly, for well over a year. Today it failed to renew. I have tried twice to renew it manually this morning and each time I get an on-screen 'success' message, but never a confirmation email and the Dashboard continues to say my plan needs renewing. I bank with Barclays, there are funds available in the account and the payment card has not expired. My partner's account, which was originally set up a the same time & was also set to auto-renew today, has renewed just fine, but he banks elsewhere. payment issue
Hi I have just switched to Smarty and as soon as I had my number ported from my old network i found my plan paused. I went to renew my plan and make a payment and the site won't take any payment, debit card, credit card or even paypal. Anyone having the same issues?? Hello, I signed up to SMARTY today (longtime looker, first time jumper) and used Apple Pay to purchase my plan (30GB for £10 with extra 30GB for 12 months). When I look at my account online or in the app it says that I don't have a payment method set up, but looking on the SMARTY website, and these forums, it suggests that Apple Pay is a valid auto-renew payment method. Please can someone confirm whether or not it is, and if not does that mean I need to go into my account before my month is up and enter a credit/debit card in order to not lose service? I was 10p under the £15 to renew plan (I’m blaming Gregg’s bakery for this! 😂) however it means my payment didn’t get made. I have the money to pay it now but I can’t find how to do it.
