Hi,
Is there any way to stop voicemails starting with reading the mobile number first?
I'd rather have the voice message first, to see if I need to ring back.
rather than having to sit through the reading of the telephone number of the missed call.
Many Thanks
Liam

@LiamMcL_2463092 I don't think so.

Surely, you need to know who left the message before listening to something that may drone on for ages. You can then decide if you are even going to bother listening to it.

I imagine that the voicemail system sorts messages by the originating number and so I'm not sure how it would announce a message if not by giving the number it came from.

For me , I prefer to listen to the message first.
I can tell if it junk within a few seconds.
My other supplier , vodafone played the message first, and at any time I could pres 5 , and it  would read out the digits and call the mobile.

it's ok, i've found the option
I selected "message body" only , in the voicemail menu options

voicemail
opt 4 - mailbox settings
opt 0 - other options
opt 4 - how played
opt 2 - how played
then select "message body only" (default is headers and message body)

@LiamMcL_2463092  Thanks for providing that  useful info - I had no idea it was possible (I suppose mainly because I have never tried to fiddle with those settings ๐Ÿ™„)

How (where) do I find mailbox settings?

Thanks, seen that but it does not tell me where I find mailbox settings.

@DavidBr_2198660  When you dial voicemail number, choose option 4

Thanks.  I didn't realise it was somewhere other than settings on the phone.  Why are these things so complicated?
