ColinAi_2512243 Have you completed a Network Status check? Could it be that there is ongoing work on your local Three network mast?
Smarty do make it perfectly clear that you should not rely on mobile data instead of broadband, so unfortunately you cannot complain on that score.

I've had a similar issue recently with a slow connection, but after checking the network status I discovered that they are currently doing upgrade work to fix an issue at the local mast. It's quite common at the moment, with the old 3G being turned off. So it's worth checking that first, before coming to any conclusions.
