Hi - any help appreciated. I purchased a SMARTY Data SIM from ARGOS this afternoon, went on line and created an account and paid £20 for unlimited data for a month. Happy days. What I did not realise was that as I had obtained a physical SMARTY SIM from ARGOS, I should have selected to set it up differently. My account when I log in now shows "Awaiting Number", which means it's expecting them to send me a SIM card in the post I assume, which I then activate.
I'd really like to use the SIM card I purchased from ARGOS, I have a SMARTY phone number and a SIM number (bothon the SIM card here with me), but wonder if this is now possible as I should have entered the SIM card details first when creating an account. Clearly the system is currently waiting for my "new" SIM card to arrive, and then allow me to activate it.
Is there any way to use the physical SIM card I obtained from ARGOS? Otherwose I'm just going to have to wait 2-3 days for the postman to deliver it, then activate the card they are sending me, I'd really like to use the one I have here. I don't want to have to pay another £20 for the privilege of doing so though ...
