Travelling to Europe

I’m travelling to Egypt and totally confused what I need to buy to use WIFI? 
I only use my Smarty sim for travelling so at the moment I’m out of plan. Do I need to renew a plan and then buy an add on? If I need to renew a plan (I use data only) can it just be the cheapest plan, is it the add on that is more important? 
Any help, in simple terms/steps, would be appreciated! 🙈🤣

You have a data allowance of up to 12 GB in the EU with Smarty. 

And YES of course you need an active plan, otherwise your phone will be about as useful as a doorstop in the EU !

@BEVERLY_2052403  Take a look at the Price Guide for details of cost while in Egypt. Free wifi in hotels etc is ok but not reliable. An e-sim may be good if your phone supports it.
