How do I change my number on iPhone 12 tried a number of ways but no luck been trying in settings opened up my number changed it pressed save but not working

AntonyS_2633092 Normally, it can be changed in Settings>Phone>My Number.
You can also sign out of FaceTime and iMessage and then sign back in after a minute or two.
If it really won't co-operate, you may need to try Network Reset.

AntonyS_2633092 Yes, you need to sign out of both.
We did see someone on here the other day with a similar problem and it required a horrible workaround to sort it out.
Signed out of messages but not FaceTime do you have to do both at same w
