Invoice or receipt
Hello, on the smarty website its stated "SMARTY is a mobile service that's just for consumers and is only intended for personal use. We don't offer any business plans, so we can't issue VAT receipts ...
This is very awkward.. the consumer is the one paying the VAT and if we require an Invoice we can't get one because we are just consumers and not a VAT-registered business!? There is something very odd about this!

You have access to Smarty's VAT reg. no. at the bottom of the main web page.
A business supplying consumers is not required to issue a VAT invoice. Don't forget that a number of businesses that you deal with may in fact not even be registered for VAT if turnover is £90k or less.
If you need proof of spending, then (as I suggested on another post I think) you can view your details of spend, as well as calls made, and then screen grab them.
