iMessages

Just ported my number to Smarty and I cant send  iMessages. Error message say number not associated to sim!  Any ideas please?

    Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on your iPhone with the SMARTY SIM card, CliffDe_2758603? 

    The iOS user guide explains the reset procedures.
