I have a dual SIM phone and use 2 Smarty SIMs in it - one for work and one for personal. I also live in an rural area with pretty patchy coverage. So am regularly moving in and out of signal range, even when just walkig around outside my house.
My phone shows the signal strength from boh SIMS side by side in top menu bar and I've noticed that, a lot of the time the two are not just slightly, but completely, different. One SIM will have 4 bars and the other will have none. I'm fairly sure it's mostly the same SIM which tends to lose sginal too.
So why is this? I've got 2 SIMs from the same provider, running on the same netwrok and in the same phone. Shouldn't their signal levels be identical, all the time?
