Discounts not available to existing customers

I see there is a new offer available - 5 GB for £5 a month, instead of the usual £6.  However when I go to my dashboard, the price reverts to £6 a month.  So, the offer is not available to me as an existing customer.  That doesn't seem fair, and disappointing to me that Smarty are doing that.  Why can I not get that offer?

@Patrick_1231421  If you have a web chat with Smarty Support I imagine that you will get the offer - others who have reported this issue in the past have normally had success.
