Hi MartinH_1764359 When roaming in the EU SMARTY only has an agreement with the networks you use/ I would expect something like what MSF has stated would be correct - depending on your device you can check what has used your data when roaming. Another top tip would be to downlaod maps over WiFi before you head off on your journey, this saves a ton of data.
MartinH_1764359 Don't you think that you should check your devices first to ensure that they have not carried out an update over mobile data.
I really don't think that it is a scam. If that were the case, I'm sure that the Regulator would have had multiple complaints and taken action by now.
