I don't think it should be a problem for them to use the bonus sim - as long as they work with your referral link.

Did bonus SIM on line entered SIM number details etc done now friend has link to refer a friend ! So we both have refer friend links ! Bonus SIM works as if got one from store or smarty thanks
Hi can you explain the actual step by step process please to me?
I have a Bonus SIM to pass to my husband.
Does he need to create an account from my Refer A Friend link first - before inserting and activating the Smarty SIM into his phone?
I don't find the Smarty instructions particularly clear on their website.
Thanks for any info!Using screenshots from my account as an example (Obviously, your husband will use your sign up link) :
1. Tap ‘activate sim’ ( seen in bottom right of screenshot)
2. As you husband doesn’t yet have a Smarty account at this point, type in the SIM card number (not phone number) underneath where it says “otherwise let’s activate your SIM”That’s all there is to it
