Wrong number showing on sms messages

I was told my transfer on my old number was complete. But the smarty sim number is still showing on SMS and whatsApp mesaged. 

Can someone please give me help

    This happened to me last week. Go into the dashboard and request a replacement SIM

      kevinko​ That really shouldn't be necessary. The other problem is that when you order a replacement sim, your account is suspended until you activate the replacement - a security measure if your sim is lost or stolen.

        I had other issues in that SMS messages from the new SIM showed they came from the Smarty number, not my ported number. An online chat with a support human said that would be an answer. Asker for the replacement SIM on Friday and it arrived this afternoon. All sorted.

    Jeanett_4302185​ Your phone is 'remembering' the original number allocated to the SIM.

    You may be able to change this number manually in Settings on your phone or you may need a Network Reset from Settings.

    Jeanett_4302185​ For SMS, I will assume you are talking about Google Messages RCS. For that, you need to turn off RCS, turn off phone number verification in Google settings, restart the phone, and then turn number verification and RCS on again.

    For WhatsApp, you might need to check the 'Change phone number' setting under 'Account'.
