WiFi Calling fails June 2025

Unable to make wifi calling from phone, it has worked fine since January 2025 - same phone - same internet company. Contacted wifi provider no issues on line. Now reaching out to smarty gang. Have latest IOS update, have restarted the phone. Any ideas ? thank you

    Apple has just released carrier profile 64.2 which fixes the issue. 

    Go to Settings > General > About and you should get a popup allowing you to install the new carrier profile.

    This has worked for me. Settings > General > About > Network Provider now updated says "Three 64.2". Rebooted the phone and now Wi-Fi calling is back up and running. Thanks WelshPaul without your help I'd still be in limbo!

    Thanks Paul. Spent an hour with Smarty help yesterday to try and resolve.

    Thank God for this message, I’ve been messing around with the roof and everything. Do you think they would send you a message or something to let you know there’s a problem with Wi-Fi calling. That’s it. I’m off. I’m out of here. I’m gone. I’m going back to a big network

        MikeWad_1157500  Mobile calls were down yesterday so perhaps wifi calling could not connect?

        How do you get help from Smarty? I can't see anywhere that I can speak to a person? I've done all that you've suggested and now got iMessaging back but still not receiving wifi calling even though it's all switched on, have turned phone off and on, have paid extra to Smarty for an add on... and it's still giving my caller a busy message. What's going on? It's ALWAYS worked before and I have 64. 2

    10th June 09:00 - 3UK and Apple technical teams have identified the issue with Wi-Fi Calling and are now working on a fix. Thank you for your patience, and we’ll continue to keep you updated.

    17:00 - 3UK technical teams continue to with Apple to work on resolving the issue.

    15:00 - 3UK technical teams are working with Apple to work on resolving the issue.

    13:00 - 3UK technical teams are continuing to work on resolving the issue.

    11:00 - 3UK technical teams are investigating the issue.

      I noticed this on Sunday 8th June. Good to see Three and Apple are working to resolve it.
      Are you saying it only affects iPhone, and is working okay on Android??
      I'll give you until the end of the week if it's not fixed by then, I'll ditch Smarty/ Three.

        I’m going anyway. They could’ve emailed us and told us there was a problem. That’s the final straw for me. I’m gone. I have unlimited everything for £12, but sometimes Cheap isn’t the only Benefit, I need reliability and I’m prepared to pay double
