What is The phone symbol on status bar

Check your phone's manual, but at a guess, wifi calling is active on your phone, as the symbol is a combination of a small phone icon and a small wifi signal icon 

Nethey12 . I've just done a search and for Samsung phones, it does indicate wifi calling in operation.

If you do not have a Samsung, follow advice from JJP2
